The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has split.

Before them, the people of Noah denied. They rejected Our servant and said, "A madman," and he was rebuked.
So he called upon his Lord, "I am overpowered, so help me."
So We opened the gates of the sky with pouring water.
We caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a purpose already decreed.

The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh.
They rejected all Our signs, so We seized them with the grip of One Mighty and Powerful.
Are your disbelievers better than those, or do you have immunity written in the scriptures?
Or do they say, "We are a united force that will prevail"?
Their forces will be defeated, and they will turn their backs and flee.
No, the Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour is more devastating and more bitter.
The wicked are in error and blazing fire.
On the Day they are dragged through the Fire on their faces: "Taste the touch of Hell!"
We have created everything according to a precise measure.
Our command is but a single word, like the blink of an eye.
We have destroyed those like you before, so is there anyone who will take heed?
Everything they did is recorded in the scriptures.
Every matter, small and great, is written down.
Those who are mindful of God will be in gardens and rivers.
In a seat of truth, before a Sovereign, All-Powerful.
