When the heaven is split,
And it listened to its Lord and was suitable.
And when the earth is stretched,
And it threw out what is in it and is empty,
And it listened to its Lord and was suitable.
O man! Indeed, you are toiling to your Lord, toiling, so to meet Him.
Then as for him who is given his book in his right hand,
Then soon he will be called to account, an easy reckoning.
And he will turn over to his people happy.
And as for him who is given his book behind his back,
Then soon he shall call for destruction,
And he will burn in a blaze.
Indeed, he was among his people happy.
Indeed, he thought that he would not return.
Yes, indeed, his Lord sees him.
So I swear by twilight.
By the night, and what it loaded.
By the moon when it is full.
You will surely, definitely ride from layer to layer.
So what ails them, they do not believe?
And when the Quran is read to them, they do not prostrate?
Nay, those who disbelieve deny.
And God knows best what they keep.
So give them glad tidings of a painful punishment.
Except those who believed and did the good works, for them is a reward unending.
