By the sky, the possessor of the towers.
By the promised day.
By a witness and what is witnessed.
Killed were the fellows of the trench,
Of the fire, the possessor of fuel,
When they were sitting by it,
And they were witnesses to what they were doing with the believers.
And they resented them not except that they believe in God, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy,
The one who for Him is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And God is a witness over everything.
Indeed, those who tried the believers, men and women, then did not repent, so for them is the punishment of hell. And for them is the punishment of the fire.
Indeed, those who believed and did the good works, for them are gardens beneath which the rivers flow. That is the great success.
Indeed, the assault of your Lord is surely intense.
Indeed He, He originates and He repeats,
And He is the Forgiving, the Loving,
The possessor of the throne, the Glorious,
Doer of what He desires.
Has there come to you the story of the armies,
Pharaoh and Thamud?
Nay, those who disbelieved are in denial.
And God encompasses from behind them.
Nay, it is a glorious Quran,
In a guarded tablet.
