HE empowered the Quran
HE created man
HE empowered him with the expression of thought.
The sun and the moon are in precise accordance
And the stars and the trees are in prostration
The sky— HE raised it, and HE set up the balance,
That you violate not the balance
And stay ever true to the weight in full fairness, and do not diminish the balance.
The earth— HE set it up for all the living creatures
In it is fruit and palms full of fruit-filled sheaths,
And grain full of ruffage, and the aromatic plants,
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
HE created man from ṣalṣāl, like the earthenware
And HE created the Jinn from a mixture of fire
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
The Rabb of the two Easts and the two Wests [on the continuum of the spherical earth]
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
HE mixed the two seas together.
A seamless barrier [Barzakh] between the two, not do they overrun.
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
From both emerge the pearl and the red coral
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
To HIM belong the ships with their sails raised high in the seas, like banners.
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
Everyone who is therein, is to perish,
While to remain forever is your Rabb’s BEING, Owner of all Majesty, and Munificence.
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
Whoever is in the heavens and the earth asks of HIM. Every day, whoever [it is] is in a condition [of need].
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
WE shall attend to you, O you the two laden ones
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
O collective of Jinns and humans, if you have the capacity to pierce through the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pierce through. You are not to pierce through except with authority.
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
A flame of fire and smoke will be let loose on you— you will muster no defense.
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
Then when the sky is split, becoming rosy like rouge
Then which of the providences of your Rabb will you two deny?
Then [with nothing hidden], on that day no man or Jinn will be asked to explain his trespass
Then which of the providences of your Rabb will you two deny?
The flouters of divine guidance will be made known by their marks— they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet
Then, which of the providences of your Rabb will you two deny?
This, which the flouters of divine guidance deny, is Jahannam—
They will make rounds between it and pooled [stagnant] fluid bereft of mercy [ḥamīm]
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
And for him who feared the station of his Rabb are paired gardens
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
Both [gardens], owner-hosts of profuse and diverse spreads
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
In the two [gardens] are two flowing springs
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
In both are every complementarily paired fruit
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
Reclined in comfort on spreads, inner linings of brocade, and the plucking of the two gardens ever within reach.
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
[Heavenly beings] attentively focused of gaze are therein, not touched before them by any human, nor any Jinn.
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
As if they were rubies and red coral
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
Is the recompense of the good done [in devotion to God] anything but the good [of divine recompense]?
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
And lower than the two [gardens] are two [more] gardens.
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
Both lush green
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
In them both, two misty, gushing streams
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
In them both are delicious fruits— dates and pomegranates
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
Beautiful bestowals in them all.
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
Dedicated, deep dark eyed ones in the arbors
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
Untouched before them by human or Jinn
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
Reclined on green cushions and on beautiful ornate carpets
So, which of the providences of your Rabb do you two deny?
The Source of blessings is the name of your Rabb, Owner of all Majesty and Munificence.
