The Merciful
has taught the Koran
He created the huma
and taught him its pronunciation
The sun and the moon to a reckoning
The stars and the trees prostrate themselves
He raised the heaven on high and set the scale
Do not transgress the scales
Give just weight and do not skimp the scales
He set down the earth for the creation
Therein are fruits and palm trees with sheaths
the grain in the blade; and aromatic herbs
Which favors of your Lord will you both (humans and jinn) belie
He created the human from clay, like earthenwar
and He created the jinn from smokeless fire
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
The Lord of the Two Easts, the Lord of the Two Wests
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
He has let forth the two seas, they meet together
and between them is a barrier which they do not overpass
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Pearls and corals come from both
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Also, His are the ships that run, raised up like mountains upon the sea
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
All that live on it will perish
Yet the Face of your Lord will abide forever, Majestic and Splendid
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Whosoever is in the heaven and earth ask Him. Every day He is upon an affair (He reveals according to His Eternal determination)
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
We shall surely aim, O both burdened
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Tribe of jinn and of human, if you are able to penetrate the provinces of heaven and earth, pass through them! But you shall not pass through except with a power
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Flames of fire and molten copper shall be loosed against you, and you shall not be helped
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
When the heaven splits asunder and turns crimson, like red leather
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
On that Day, neither human nor jinn shall be asked about his sin
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
The sinners shall be known by their mark, they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
This is Gehenna (Hell) which the sinners belied
they shall go round between it, and between a hot, boiling water
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
(Gardens) with many branches
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Therein are two running fountains
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Therein are two kinds of every fruit
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
(They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Shall the recompense of goodness be anything other than goodness
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
And beside these there shall be two Gardens
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
The greenest of green pastures
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Therein are two gushing fountains of water
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
In them shall be good and pleasing
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets
Which favors of your Lord will you both belie
Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid
