By the scatterers, scattering.
And those carrying a load.
And those running easily.
And those distributing command.
Indeed, what you are promised is surely true.
And indeed, the judgment will surely happen.
By the heaven, the possessor of the paths.
Indeed, you are surely in disagreeing speech.
He is turned away from it who is turned.
Killed are the liars,
Those who they are unmindful in a flood.
They ask, 'When is the Day of Judgment?'
On the day they, they will be tried upon the fire.
Taste your trial. This is the one which you were seeking to hasten.
Indeed, those who fear are in gardens and springs,
Taking what their Lord gave them. Indeed, they were good-doers before that.
They used to sleep little of the night;
And they, they seek forgiveness before dawn.
And in their wealth is what is due to the one who asked, and the one who is denied.
And in the earth are signs for those who are sure,
And in yourselves, so do you not see?
And in the heaven is your provision and what you are promised.
And by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, indeed, it is surely truth, like that you, you speak.
Did the story of the honoured guests of Abraham come to you?
When they entered upon him and said, 'Peace.' He said, 'Peace. Unknown people.'
Then he turned aside to his family, then he came with a fat calf,
Then he brought it near to them; he said, 'Will you not eat?'
Then he felt a fear of them. They said, 'Do not fear.' And they gave him glad tidings of a knowing boy.
Then his wife approached in a noise, then she struck her face and said, 'A barren old woman.'
They said, 'Thus said your Lord. Indeed He, He is the Wise, the Knowing.'
He said, 'Then what is your affair, O messengers?'
They said, 'Indeed we, we have been sent to sinful people,
To send down upon them stones of clay,
Marked by your Lord for the extravagant.'
Then We brought out who was in it of the believers;
So We found not in it other than a house of the submitters.
And We left in it a sign for those who fear the painful punishment.
And in Moses; when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority.
Then he turned away with his support and said, 'A magician or mad.'
Then We seized him and his armies, then We threw them into the sea; and he was blameworthy.
And in 'Ad, when We sent upon them the barren wind.
It did not leave anything which it came upon except it made it like the rotten bones.
And in Thamud, when it was said to them, 'Enjoy until a time.'
Then they were insolent towards the command of their Lord; then the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking.
Then they were not able to stand and they were not victorious.
And the people of Noah before; indeed they, they were disobedient people.
And the heaven, We built it with strength, and indeed, We surely make more spacious.
And the earth, We spread it; and excellent are the spreaders.
And of everything We created pairs, perhaps you may remember.
So flee to God; indeed, I am a clear warner from Him to you.
And do not make another god with God; indeed, I am a clear warner from Him to you.
Thus a messenger came not to those who were before them except they said, 'A magician or mad.'
Have they instructed each other with it? Nay, they are immoderate people.
So turn away from them, so you are not blameworthy.
And remind; so indeed, the reminder profits the believers.
And I have not created the jinn and mankind except to serve Me.
I do not desire provision from them, and I do not desire that they feed me.
Indeed, God, He is the Provider, the possessor of strength, the Strong.
So indeed, for those who did wrong is a portion, like the portion of their fellows, so let them not ask Me to hasten.
Then woe to those who disbelieved from their day which they are promised.
