O you who believed, live up to [all of] your obligations. The livestock animals are made lawful to you, except what is recited upon you and you are not permitted to hunt while in the state of Ihram. Indeed, Allah establishes, hands down [through Prophet Muhammad (saw)] whatever He wills.
O you who believed, do not violate the rites of Allah nor of the sacred month, nor of the sacrificial animals, nor the garlands [marking out such animals] nor the people coming to the Sacred House seeking bounty from their Lord and [His] approval. But when you come out of ihram, then you may hunt. And let not the hatred of a people for having obstructed you from al-Masjid al-haram lead you to transgress. And cooperate upon the righteousness and the piety, but do not cooperate upon the sin and the aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.
Prohibited upon you are the dead, the blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah, and [those animals] killed by harsh methods like: strangling, violent blow, head-long fall or the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has partly eaten, except what you have slaughter, and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you draw lots. That is transgression. Today those who disbelieved have despaired of [combating] your religion. So do not fear them but fear Me. Today I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But the one who is compelled in a famine with no inclination to sin; for sure, Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.
They ask you, what is legislated for them [to eat]. Say, "[All] foods that are good. And whatever of the beasts of prey [Dog and falcon] you teach them from what Allah has taught you so as to eat of what they catch on your [choices] and mention the name of Allah upon it, and fear Allah." Indeed, Allah is swift in reckoning.
Today all good foods are made lawful for you, and the food of those who were given the Book is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And [permissible for you in marriage] are chaste believing women as well as chaste women from those who were given the Book before you, if you pay them their dowries in wedlock, marrying, not fornicating and not taking lovers. And whoever disbelieves in the faith, so already his works is void [in this life] and in the Hereafter he is of the losers.
O you who believed, when you purify for the prayers then wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and rub your heads and your feet to the ankles. But if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have been in contact with women and you find no water, then seek clean earth and rub your faces and hands with it. Allah does not wish to set upon you any difficulty, but He intends to purify you and complete His favour upon you; perhaps you may be thankful.
And remember the favour of Allah upon you, and His covenant with which He bound you with; when you said, "We heard and we obeyed." And revere Allah. Indeed, Allah is Knowing about what is in the breasts.
O you who believed, Be establishers for Allah, the witnesses in the justice: [there is no deity except Allah, Allah revealed Qur'an, Qur'an 3:18, Qur'an 4:166], and let not the hatred against a people prevent you that you do not do justice [Qur'an 3:19]. Do justice; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is aware about what you were working.
Allah has promised those who believed and worked the righteous deeds, there is for them forgiveness and a great reward.
And those who disbelieved and belied about Our Verses, those are the companions of Hellfire.
O you who believed, Remember Allah’s favour upon you; when a people intended to stretch out their hands toward you, so He restrained their hands from you. And fear Allah. And upon Allah, then let the believers rely.
And Allah took a covenant with the Children of Israel and We sent forth twelve chief-witnesses from them and Allah said, "I am with you in the sense that if you established the prayers and gave the alms and believed in My messengers and aided them and loan Allah an excellent loan, I will remove from you, your evil deeds and admit you to paradises; flowing from beneath which are the rivers. So whoever of you disbelieved after that, then already had strayed from the soundness of the way."
So for their overturning of their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts, hard. They continued to deviate the words from their domains [guess into original, parable-into-reality, natural event-into-miraculous event, ordinary human into chosen, false prophet into true prophet] and they ignored a portion of what they were reminded about. You [O Muhammad] will not cease upon discovering traitors from them, except a few from them. But pardon them and forbear. Indeed, Allah loves the good-doers.
And from those who said, "We are Christians," We took their covenant, but they ignored a portion of what they were reminded about. So We let to arise between them hostility and enmity towards the Day of Judgment [belief, Qur'an 5:64] and shortly [3-9 ages, Qur'an 30:4] Allah will inform them about whatever they were making up.
O people of the Book, certainly there has come to you Our Messenger, setting clear to you much of what you had hidden of the Book, and pardon on much. Certainly there has come to you from Allah a light and an obvious Book.
Allah guides through it whoever seeks His pleasure to the ways of peace, and He brings them out of the darkness to light by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.
Already they disbelieved those who said, "Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary." Say, [O Muhammad], "Who owns from Allah a thing if He chose to destroy the Messiah, son of Mary, his mother, and whoever in the world [who said so] all together?" To Allah [alone] belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates whatever He wills [creatures like Jesus, Mary, Adam, Eve]. And Allah is over everything competent.
And the Jews and the Christians each said, "We are children of Allah and His beloved." Say, [O Muhammad], "So why then does He punish you by your sins? No but is there! You are human kind from whomever He has created. He grants forgiveness to whoever He wills and punishes whoever He wills. To Allah [alone] belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them; and to Him is the final return."
O people of the Book, certainly there has come to you Our Messenger to set clear for you [the religion] after an interval period of the messengers. Lest you say, "There has come to us no bringer of good news nor a warner." So certainly there has come to you a bringer of good news and a warner. And Allah is over everything competent.
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Moses said to his people, "O my people, remember the favour of Allah upon you, when He set up in you prophets and set up you kings, and gave you what He has not given to anyone from the worlds.
O my people, enter the holy land that Allah has written for you, and do not turn your backs then you will be turning back as losers."
They said, "O Moses, indeed, therein are a people of great strength, and indeed, we will not enter it until they exit out of it. So if they exit out of it, then we will indeed enter."
Two men from those who fear Allah's favour upon them, said, "Enter against them through the gate, for when you have entered it, you will be victorious. And upon Allah so you should rely, if you are believers."
They said, "O Moses, indeed we will not enter it ever, whatever duration they would be in there; so go ahead you and your Lord, and you both fight. Indeed, we are sitting right here [to watch]."
[Moses] said, "My Lord, indeed I own nothing except myself and my brother, so separate between us and between the defiantly disobedient people."
[Allah] said, "Then indeed, it is forbidden upon them for forty years. They shall be wandering in the land. So do not sorrow over the defiantly disobedient people."
And recite upon them [O Muhammad] the story of Adam's two sons, in the truth: when they both offered a sacrifice, and it was accepted from one of them, and it was not accepted from the other. [The other] said, "Surely I will kill you." [The former] said, "Indeed, Allah only accepts from those who fear.
If you stretch out your hand to kill me, I shall not stretch out my hand to kill you. Indeed, I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
Indeed I wish you would incur about my sin and your sin, so you become of the companions of the Fire. And that is the recompense of the oppressors."
And his soul prompted for him, murdering his brother, so he killed him, so he became of the losers.
Then Allah sent a crow scratching in the land, to show him how to bury the corpse of his brother. He said, "Woe unto me! Was I unable to be like this crow, so as to bury the corpse of my brother?" So he became of the regretful ones.
For that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that: he who kills a soul for other than a soul or for corruption in the earth, so it is as if he killed mankind altogether. And whoever saves one, so it is as if he saved mankind altogether. And Our messengers certainly came to them with the proofs, then indeed most of them after that in the earth surely commits excess.
A penalty for those who fight Allah and His Messenger [Muhammad], and strive on the land for corruption, is only that they be killed, or be crucified, or be cut off, their hands and feet from opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is a disgrace for them in this world, and for them is a great punishment in the Hereafter.
Except those who repented before you overpower against them [O believers]. So know that Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.
O you who believed, fear Allah and seek the means to Him and strive in His Way, perhaps you may be successful.
Indeed, those who disbelieved, even if for them is whatever on the earth, altogether and the like of it, thereby to ransom about it [themselves] from the punishment of the Day of Judgment, it would never be accepted from them. And for them is a painful punishment.
They want to exit out of the Fire, but they will not exit out of it. And for them is an everlasting punishment.
And the male thief and the female thief, then cut off their hands about what they have earned, as a exemplary punishment from Allah. And Allah is Almighty, Wise.
But whoever repented after his oppression, and reformed, so indeed Allah will relent upon him [forgive him]. Indeed, Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.
Do you not know that to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whoever He wills and He forgives whoever He wills. And Allah is over everything competent.
O Messenger! Do not grieve you, those who are rushing in the disbelief from those who said, "We believed" with their tongues, but their hearts do not believe and from those who are Jews. They are all listeners for the lies, listeners for other people [the rabbis] who did not come to you. They [the rabbis] distort words alive from their domain [Qur'an 4:46], yet say [to canonize Qur'an], "If you are given this then accept otherwise beware [to set you on the lies in either option]." Whoever Allah intends to be His test case [O Muhammad], then you will not have a thing for him from Allah. Those are the ones whom Allah does not intend to purify their hearts. For them there is disgrace in this world, and for them in the Hereafter is a tremendous punishment.
[They are] avid listeners to the lie, eaters of the illicit-gain. So if they come to you, [O Muhammad], expose [whatever rabbis has given, Qur'an 5:41] between them, or turn away from them. And if you turn away from them, they will not harm you in anything. And if you expose, expose [that] between them justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who deal in justice.
And why will they make you a judge, while being stubborn to have with them the Torah having therein the judgment of Allah? Then they turn away, after that; and those are not the believers [of having with them the canonized Torah, Qur'an 6:91].
Indeed, We sent down the Torah, its guidance and light being canonized through the prophets who submitted to [as much as they can] in keeping what they were entrusted of the Book of Allah about for those who are Jews and the rabbis and the scholars and they were witnesses there upon. You all [from those witnesses to present] were thus to not fear the people [opposing canonization, Qur'an 11:110] but were to fear Me, and were to not sell My verses [after their canonizations] for a small price [Jewish unity, Qur'an 5:79]. And whoever does not establish [straighten, canonize] about what Allah has sent down [through a prophetic footstep] - so those - they are the infidels.
And We ordained upon them [Jews] therein that: the soul for the soul, the eye for the eye, the nose for the nose, the ear for the ear, the tooth for the tooth, and the wounds is a legal retribution. But whoever [among Jews] gives [up his right as] charity therein, then it is an expiation for him. And whoever does not establish [straighten, canonize] about what Allah has sent down - so those [inheritors, Qur'an 5:44], they are the oppressors.
And We caused Jesus, the son of Mary, to follow upon the footsteps of those [Torah canonizing prophets, Qur'an 5:44], confirming what was in between his hands of the Torah [a portion of the Torah, Qur'an 3:49-50], and We gave him the Gospel, wherein there was guidance and light, confirming belonging to what was in between his hands of the Torah [a portion of the Torah, Qur'an 3:49-50], and as a guidance and admonition for those who fear.
And let the people of the Gospel canonize [straighten, establish upon following the footsteps, Qur'an 5:44] about what Allah has sent down therein. And whoever does not establish [canonize, straighten, decide] about what Allah has sent down, so those [inheritors of Jewish zealots, Qur'an 5:44], they are the defiantly disobedient.
And We have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the book in the truth [Qur'an], self-confirming what is in between its two hands of the book [Qur'an] in addition to being the supreme authority over itself [removing any external source to have any say regarding its language, grammar, interpretation, style, its law, its narrative of history, previous scriptures, previous prophets, hereafter, hell, heaven, angles, last but not least God]. So establish your authority, [O Muhammad] between them [Jews, Christians] by what Allah has sent down [to you] and do not follow their vain desires against whatever of the truth has come to you [so far]. [In overwhelming situation, consider] to each of you We set up a law and a method. And had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation [in religion], but [He intended] to test you all in what He has given you; so race in goodness. To Allah is your return all together, then He will inform you all concerning this [your authority, O Muhammad] wherein you were differing.
And with that [sanction] establish your authority [O Muhammad] between them [Jews, Christians] by what Allah has sent down [to you] and do not follow their vain desires and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has sent down to you. So if they turn away, then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins [not their forefathers who corrupted their Books]. And indeed, many of the people are defiantly disobedient.
Is that [Qur'an 5:43, your judging authority], so the ruling of ignorance [the rabbis gave them, Qur'an 5:41] they may seek? Who could be a better authority-giver than Allah for a people who are certain?
O you who believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. Some of them are allies of some others. And whoever is an ally of them from you, then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the oppressing people.
So you [O Muhammad] would see those in whose hearts is a disease, rushing to be in them [Jewish-Christian alliance] saying, "We fear that a turn of fortune may strike us." So perhaps Allah will bring with the conquest or a command of its exposure, so some morning they to become regretful upon what they had concealed within themselves.
And those who believe say, "Are these the ones who solemnly swore by Allah their strongest oaths that indeed they were with you [muslims]?" Their deeds became worthless, and they became losers.
O you who believed, whoever from you turns back on his religion? So soon Allah will bring forth with a people whom He will love and they will love Him; they are humble upon the believers, strong against the infidels. They strive in the way of Allah and do not fear the blame of a blamer. That is the favour of Allah; He bestows it whomever He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing, Knowing.
Allah is your only ally and His Messenger, and those who have believed, those who establish the prayer, and give the zakah, and they bow [in worship].
And whoever takes as an ally Allah and His Messenger and those who have believed; So indeed, the party of Allah, they are the victorious.
O you who believed, do not take those who have taken your religion in mockery and play from those who were given the Book [its former border, Qur'an 13:40-41] before you and the infidels, as allies. Fear Allah, if you are believers.
And whenever you [believers] made a call for the prayers, they took it as a mockery and a play. That is because they are a people who do not reason to understand [the value].
Say, "O people of the Book, Are you resenting anything of ours except that we believed in Allah and what was sent down to us and what was sent down before [from its prior border, Qur'an 13:40-41] and that most of you are evil-doers?"
Say, "Shall I inform you about an evil more evil than that [resentment, Qur'an 5:59] as a recompense from Allah? It is he whom Allah has cursed him and upon whom He became angry and made from them the apes and the pigs and worshipers of taghut [fake gods]. Those are worse in position and further astray from the sound way."
Whenever [the hypocrites] come to you [O believers] they said, "We believe," but certainly they have entered disbelievingly, and certainly they went out with it. And Allah knows best what they were hiding.
You [O Muhammad] see many of them are hastening in the sin, and the transgression, and their eating of the forbidden gain. Indeed, evil is what they were working.
If only their rabbis and scholars were forbidding them from saying what is sinful and eating what is unlawful? Indeed, evil is what they were producing.
And the Jews said [in the defense of devouring unlawful], "The hand of Allah is shackled." Their hands were shackled, and they were cursed in what they said; No but is there! His hands are extended. He spends how He wills [Qur'an 5:66]. And that which was sent down to you from your Lord [O Muhammad] will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And [in a likewise manner] We have cast between them the animosity and the hatred towards the Day of Judgment [Qur'an 5:14]. Whenever they kindle a fire for the war [against the Day of Judgment belief], Allah extinguishes it. And they strive throughout the land spreading corruption, and Allah does not love corrupters.
And if only the people of the Book had believed and feared Allah, We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to paradises of Bliss.
And if only that they divinely [using Qur'an 5:44-49, Qur'an 5:68] had canonized [established, straightened] the Torah and the Gospel and what was sent down to them from their Lord, surely they would have eaten from above them and from beneath their feet [keeping Allah's hands wide open for them]. From them is a moderate community but most of them, evil is what they are working.
O the Messenger, proclaim what was sent down to you from your Lord, and if you do not do as is, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from mankind [Qur'an 5:44]. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
Say, [O Muhammad], "O people of the Book! You would not be on anything [like that of the original Torah, Gospel, and what was sent down to you from your Lord] until or unless you divinely canonize [straighten, establish] the Torah, the Gospel, and what was sent down to you from your Lord.” But unfortunately what was sent down to you [O Muhammad] from your Lord would only add in most of them in [their] rebellion and disbelief [preexisted towards Qur'an like canonizing scriptures]. So do not sorrow upon the disbelieving people.
Indeed, those who believed [in what was sent down to you, O Muhammad, from your Lord] and those [few of them, Qur'an 5:68] who [ceased their rebellion and disbelief through it to truly] became the Jews or the Sabeans or the Christians; whoever [in likewise steps] believed in Allah and the Last Day and worked righteous works, no fear will there be against them, nor will they grieve.
We had already taken the covenant of the Children of Israel [Qur'an 5:12] and had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, a party [of messengers] they belied, and another party they killed them.
And they thought there would not be [religion-vs-power, power-vs-corruption, corruption-vs-prophet, a check and balance] test, so they blinded and deafened. Thereafter Allah relented on them; then many of them became blind and deaf. And Allah is All-Seer, about what they are working.
Indeed they have already disbelieved those who have said, "Indeed, Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary." While the Messiah said, "O children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed he who associates [anything] with Allah, so Allah has already forbidden against him paradise, and his abode will be the hellfire. There will be no helper for the oppressors.
Indeed they have already disbelieved who have said, "Allah is third of three." And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying [Qur'an 5:72-73], a painful punishment will surely afflict those who disbelieved from them.
So will they not repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.
The Messiah, son of Mary, was not except a messenger; certainly [many] messengers passed before him. And his mother [a prophet, when she was he] was truthful woman. They both were eating food. Look how We demonstrate to them the signs; then look how they are fooled [in supremacy war between Jewish and Greco-Roman white races].
Say, "Will you worship other than Allah something that which has no power to harm or to benefit you? And Allah, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing?"
Say, "O people of the Book, do not pride in your religion without the truth and do not follow the desires of a people who had strayed before and strayed many and strayed [themselves] from the soundness of the way."
Those who disbelieved from the Children of Israel were cursed on the tongue of David and Jesus, the son of Mary. That was concerning what they disobeyed and were transgressing [Qur'an 5:12].
They had not been forbidding one another from evil that they had been doing. Indeed evil was what they were doing.
You [O Muhammad] see many of them taking as allies those who disbelieved. Surely, evil is what their souls have forwarded for them - misdeeds, that Allah's wrath is upon them. And they will be in everlasting punishment.
And had they believed in Allah and the Prophet [Muhammad], and in what was sent down to him [as per Qur'an 5:12], they would not have taken them [polytheists] as allies. But most of them are rebellious.
You [O Muhammad] will surely find the most intense of mankind in enmity towards the believers are the Jews and the polytheists. And you will find the most welcoming of them [mankind] in affection to the believers are those said, "We are Christians." That is because from them are priests and monks and that they are not arrogant [to admit they have nothing form God but from Jewish cognitive warriors, Qur'an 5:84].
And when they listened to what was sent down to the Messenger, you [O Muhammad] see their eyes overflowing of the tears for what they recognized of the truth. They say, "Our Lord! We have believed, so write us down along with the witnesses [in Qur'an 5:12-14].
And what was with us that we will not believe in Allah and in what has come to us from the truth? And we aspire that our Lord will admit us [to Paradise] along with the righteous people."
So Allah rewarded them with what they said, paradises flowing from beneath them would be the rivers, abiding in it for ever; and that is the reward of the good-doers.
And those who disbelieved and belied about Our verses, those are the companions of Hellfire.
O you who believed, do not prohibit the good things of what Allah has made lawful to you [e.g., Qur'an 5:4-5], and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not love the transgressors.
And eat of what Allah has provided for you Halal, good. And fear Allah, the one in whom you are believers.
Allah does not take you to task about the oaths you utter out of impulses, but He will certainly take you to task about the oaths you have sworn out of thought. For a broken oath, the penalty is to feed ten poor people from average of what you feed your families, or clothing them, or freeing a neck [slave]. But whoever does not find [a way], then he shall fast three days. That is the penalty for breaking your oaths. But be careful in your oaths. Thus Allah makes His verses clear to you, perhaps you may be thankful.
O you who believed, indeed, the intoxicants, the gambling, the idols, and the divining arrows are a filth of the Satan's work. So avoid it [Satan's work], perhaps you may be successful [Qur'an 5:3].
Satan only wants to occur between you the animosity and hatred through the intoxicants and the gambling and to turn you away from the remembrance of Allah and from the prayers. So will you not then be abstaining ones?
And obey Allah and obey the Messenger and be aware. So if you turn away, then know that upon Our Messenger is only the delivery of the obvious message.
There is not upon those who believed and worked righteousness any sin in what they may have eaten before [prohibition, Qur'an 5:91], if they feared [Allah] and believed and worked the righteous deeds, then feared [Allah] and believed, then feared Allah and excelled. And Allah loves the good-doers.
O you who believed, Allah will surely test you through something of the game which your hands and spears can attain, that Allah may know who fears Him in the unseen. So whoever transgresses after that, so for him is a painful punishment.
O you who believed, do not kill game while you are in Ihram state. And whoever of you kills intentionally then the compensation is an equivalent [offering] of what he has killed from the livestock, as established by two upright men from you, to be offered for the maintenance of the Sacred House. Or atonement by feeding the needy, or by fasting so that he may taste the bad consequences of his deed. Allah forgives about what has been done. But whoever returned then Allah will exact a penalty from him. And Allah is All-Mighty, capable of exacting penalties.
Lawful to you is game of the sea and its food as provision for you and for the travellers, but forbidden upon you is game from the land in whatever length you would be in Ihram state. And fear Allah the one to whom you will be gathered.
Allah has set up the Ka'bah, the Sacred House, an establishment for the people, and the Sacred Months, and the animals for sacrifice, and their garlands, so that you be aware that Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and surely Allah is about everything All-knowing.
Know that Allah is severe in the punishment, and that Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.
Not upon the Messenger is [any duty] except delivering [the message]. And Allah knows whatever you [O men] show and whatever you conceal.
Say, "The evil and the good are not equal, even if the abundance of the evil may impress you. So fear Allah, O Men of the understanding, perhaps you may be successful."
O you who believed, do not ask on [taboo] things which, if it is shown to you, it will be evil to you. But if you ask on it [sanctioned things] while the Qur'an is being sent down, it will be shown to you. Allah has pardoned it; and Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing.
Indeed, a people before you have asked on it [taboo things]; then they became thereby infidels.
Allah did not set up Bahirah or a Sa'ibah or a Wasilah or of Hami; but those who disbelieved invent the lie against Allah, and most of them do not reason.
And when it is said to them, "Come to what Allah has sent down, and to the Messenger," they said, "Sufficient for us is what we found our forefathers upon it [Qur'an 5:103]." Even though their fathers were not knowing anything, nor were they guided?
O you who believed, upon you are your souls; he who has strayed will not harm you when you are guided. To Allah is you return altogether; then He will inform you about what you were working.
O you who believed, when death approaches one of you, let there be testimony between you at the time of the will, two fair men from you or two others from another's [men] if you are traveling through the earth and the disaster of death inflicted against you. Detain both of them after the prayer and let them swear [saying], "By Allah, We will not purchase with it [our oath] for a price, even if he should be a relative, and we will not hide the testimony of Allah. Indeed, we would then be of the sinful" if you doubt them.
But if it is discovered that both of the [witnesses] have been guilty of sin, then let two others [nearest in relation] take their place from those who have claim against [the earlier witnesses, that they were wrong], then swear by Allah, "Our testimony is truer than their testimony, and we have not transgressed. Indeed, then we would be of the oppressors."
That will be closer to bringing the testimony upon its face [as it is], or they fear that their oaths might be canceled after their oaths. So fear Allah, and listen. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.
On a Day when Allah will gather the messengers, and He says, "What response were you given?" They said, "We have no knowledge. Indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen"
[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favours upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the pure spirit and you speak to the people in the cradle, and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you the book and the wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a scroll by My leave, then you breathed into it, and it became a scroll [containing a complete list of corruption of the Torah] by My leave; and [through it] you healed the blind [to see the truth] and the leper [to enjoy faith] by My leave and when [through it] you brought back the dead [the militant atheist Jews to faith] by My leave; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [crucifying] you; when you brought them with the proofs then those who disbelieved from them said, "Left this to be nothing except an obvious magic."
And [mention] when I inspired to the disciples to believe in Me and in My messenger [Ahmad, Qur'an 61:6]; They said, "We have believed, and You should bear witness that we are Muslims."
[Remember] when the disciples said, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, Is your Lord capable to send down upon us a table spread with food from the heaven? [Jesus] said, "Fear Allah, if you should be believers."
They said, "We want to eat from it and [thereby] satisfy our hearts, and that we may know that certainly you have been spoken truth to us and we may be upon it of the witnesses."
Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O Allah, our Lord, send down upon us a table [laden with food] from the sky to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And grant us livelihood, and You are the Best of providers."
Allah said, "Indeed, I will sent it down upon you all, then whoever disbelieves afterwards from you [Qur'an 5:111] - then indeed will I punish him with a punishment by which I have not punished anyone from the worlds."
And [mention the Day] when Allah said, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, `Take me and my mother as two Gods, other than Allah?'" He said, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say what I have no right for. If I had said it then surely You would have known it. You know what is in my soul, and I do not know what is in Yourself. Indeed, You, You are the Knower of the unseen.
I said not to them except what You commanded me concering it: that you shall worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was in them; but when You recalled me [from my past], You were, Yourself the Observer over them, and indeed, You are over every thing, Witness.
If You should punish them, for sure, they are Your slaves; and if You grant forgiveness to them; for sure, You, You are the Mighty, the Wise.
