Surah “The Earthquake, The Shaking”

as rendered by Munir Mezyed — 8 verses

99:1
When the earth is quivered violently with its (last) earthquake,
99:2
And when the earth brings forth its burdens,
99:3
Then man will say: "What is wrong with it?"
99:4
On that day it will relate its chronicles
99:5
As your Lord has inspired it.
99:6
On that day, the people will proceed forth in various groups to see their deeds.
99:7
So whoever does an atom’s weight of righteous deed will see it,
99:8
And whoever does an atom's weight of iniquitous deed will see it.
