Woe to those who give short measure.
Those who, when they take a measure from people, take it in full.
But when they measure or weigh for others, they give less.
Do they not think they will be resurrected?
For a tremendous Day.
The Day when all people will stand before the Lord of all worlds.
No! The record of the wicked is in Sijjin.
What will make you realize what Sijjin is?
A written record.
Woe on that Day to the deniers.
Those who deny the Day of Judgment.
None denies it except every sinful transgressor.
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Ancient fables!"
No! Rather, what they committed has rusted over their hearts.
No! On that Day they will be veiled from their Lord.
Then they will burn in Hell.
Then it will be said, "This is what you used to deny."
No! The record of the righteous is in Illiyyin.
What will make you realize what Illiyyoun is?
A written record.
Witnessed by those brought near.
The righteous will be in bliss.
On couches, gazing.
You will recognize in their faces the radiance of bliss.
They will be given sealed wine to drink.
Its seal is musk. So let the competitors compete for this.
Its mixture is from Tasnim.
A spring from which those brought near will drink.
Those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.
When they passed by them, they would wink at one another.
When they returned to their own people, they returned amused.
When they saw them, they would say, "These people are truly lost."
Yet they were not sent as guardians over them.
So today, those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers.
On couches, gazing.
Have the disbelievers been repaid for what they used to do?
