He [the Prophet] frowned and turned away
That there came to him the blind man.
But what would make you know, perhaps he [Abdullah bin Umme Maktoom] may purify himself;
Or be reminded [on the Reminder] so the Reminder would benefit him?
As for him who thinks himself without need [of the Reminder],
So to him you are giving attention.
And not upon you [a blame] if he does not purify himself.
And as for he who came to you with striving
And he guards his consciousness [of Allah],
So you [blamed] he distracted on himself.
No such be there [Qur'an 80:10]. Indeed, it [the Qur'an] is a reminder,
For he who wanted to be reminded.
[It is] in pages, honoured,
Exalted and purified,
In the hands of scribes [angels],
Noble, dutiful.
The human was killed. What could he disbelieve in it [Qur'an]?
From which thing did He create him?
From a sperm-drop He created him, then He proportioned him;
Then the way, He eased his way;
Then He caused him to die and provided a grave for him.
Then when He wills, He will resurrect him.
No such is there [a thing to disbelieve, Qur'an 80:17]. When he accomplished what He commanded him [in Qur'an 38:29, Qur'an 30:8]!
So, let the human look towards his food,
That We, We poured down water, pouring,
Then We slit the soil, splitting [it with sprouts],
And We caused to grow therein grain
And grapes and edible herbs
And olive and date palms
And luxurious gardens
And fruit, and grass,
[As] enjoyment for you, and for your livestock.
So when the deafening Shout comes
On a Day the person will flee from his brother
And his mother and his father
And his female companion and his children,
For every person from them on that Day is a matter, he will be self-occupying himself.
[Some] faces on that Day will be shining, beaming,
Laughing, rejoicing.
And [other] faces on that Day, over them will be dust.
Dust will cover them.
Those are the infidels, the wicked ones.
