A chapter We descended, and ordained, and descended in it evident signs, perhaps you remember.
The adulteress and the adulterer, so leather each one of them hundred leathers, and let not forbearance take you with them in Allah’s religion if you were believing in Allah and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their tribulation.
The adulterer shall not marry except an adulteress or an associator, and the adulteress shall not marry except an adulterer or an associator. And that is prohibited upon the believers.
And those who throw the buttressed women, then do not come up with four witnesses, leather them eighty leathers, and do not ever accept their testimony. And these are the defiant.
Except those who repented after that, and reformed; then indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
And those who throw their wives, but did not have witnesses except themselves, then the testimony of one of them four testimonies by Allah that he is surely from the truthful.
And the fifth, is that Allah’s damn be upon him if he was of the liars.
And the tribulation shall be thwarted from her, if she testifies four testimonies by Allah, that he is surely from the liars.
And the fifth, that Allah’s anger be upon her if he was from the truthful.
And were it not for Allah's favor upon you, and His mercy, and indeed, Allah is Redeemer Wise.
Indeed, those who came up with the fake are a band of you. Do not suppose it is atrocious for you. Verily, it is better for you. For each person among them, what he acquired from the sin. And the one who directed the biggest one from them, to him is an immense tribulation.
If only, as you heard it, the believing men and women weened well of one another, and said, 'This is an evident fake’?
If only, that they came up upon it with four witnesses? So, if they did not come up with the witnesses, then at Allah, these are the liars.
And was it not for Allah's favor upon you, and His mercy, in the mundane and the Hereafter, there would have touched you, in what you flowed in, an immense tribulation.
As you lay it with your tongues and say with your mouths what you have no knowledge of, and you consider it weeny; and at Allah, it is immense.
And if only, as you heard it, you said how could we speak with this. Praise to You, “This is an immense besmirch”?
Allah admonishes you to never repeat a similar to it if you were believers.
And Allah explains the signs to you. And Allah is Knowledgeable, Wise.
Indeed, those who love that the vice entrenches in those who believed, to them is a painful tribulation, in the mundane and in the Hereafter. And Allah knows, and you do not know.
And was it not for Allah's favor upon you, and His mercy, and indeed, Allah is Forbearing, Merciful.
O you who believed! Do not follow the Satan's footsteps. And whoever follows the Satan's footsteps, then he orders with the vice and the wrong. And was it not for Allah's favor upon you, and His mercy, He would have never kindled anyone of you. But Allah kindles whomever He wishes. And Allah is Hearer, Knowledgeable.
And let not, those from you, with the favor and the capacity, preclude giving those with kinship, and the needy, and the emigrants in the path of Allah. And let them pardon, and let them overlook. Do you not love that Allah forgives you? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Indeed, those who slander the buttressed, oblivious, believing women were damned in the mundane and in the Hereafter. And to them is an immense tribulation.
On the Day when their tongues, and their hands, and their feet will testify against them with what they were moiling.
On that Day, Allah will fulfill them their right due, and they will know that indeed, Allah is the Evident Fact.
The filthy women for the filthy men, and the filthy men for the filthy women, and the beaut women for the beaut men, and the beaut men for the beaut women. Those are repudiated from what they say. To them is forgiveness, and a generous catering.
O you who believed! Do not enter houses other than your houses, until you acquaint and greet their people. That is better for you, perhaps you remember.
But if you do not find anyone in it, then do not enter it until you are consented to. And if it was said to you, “Turn back,” then turn back. That is more kindling for you. And Allah is Knowledgeable with what you moil.
There is no infringement upon you in entering unresided houses, in which are aliments to you. And Allah knows what you display, and what you conceal.
Say to the believing men, reduce from their visions, and preserve their verges. That is more kindling to them. Indeed, Allah is Expert with what they are crafting.
And say to the believing women, reduce from their visions, and preserve their verges, and not display their ornament except what appeared from it, and to drop their headcovers upon their pockets, and not display their ornament except to their blokes, or their fathers, or their blokes' fathers, or their sons, or their blokes' sons, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or what their right hands owned, or the attendants other than those with the purpose from the men, or the infants who have not been exposed to women's privacies. And they should not drub with their feet to let know what they covert from their ornament. And repent to Allah, all of you O believers, perhaps you plough.
And wed the unmarried among you and the decent among your bondservants and maidens. If they are poor, Allah will enrich them from His favor. And Allah is Vast, Knowledgeable.
And let them refrain those who do not find marriage until Allah enriches them from His favor. And those from what your right hands owned, who are pursuing the writing, so write them if you knew good in them. And give them from Allah's money which he has given you. And do not coerce your girls upon promiscuity if they wanted to be buttressed, pursuing the reward of the mundane life. And whoever coerces them, then, after their coercion, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
And We have descended to you evident signs, and an example from those who passed from before you, and an admonition to the ethical.
Allah is the Light of the skies and the earth. The example of His light is that of a niche in which is a lamp. The lamp is in a glass. The glass is like an iridescent orb, ignited from a blessed tree, an olive, neither eastern nor western. Its oil would almost radiate, even if no fire has touched it. Light upon Light. Allah guides to His light whomever He wishes. And Allah drops the examples to the masses. And Allah is Knowledgeable with everything.
In houses which Allah has consented to be raised, and His name is mentioned in it. Praising to him in it, in the mornings and the evenings,
men, not leisured by neither trading nor buying from Allah's remembrance, and upraising the salute, and giving the alms. They fear a day in which the hearts and the visions will be tumbling.
For Allah to recompense them the best of what they moiled, and increase them from His favor. And Allah caters whomever He wishes without appraisal.
And those who unbelieved, their moils are like a boggy mirage. The thirsty assumes it to be water. Until, when he reaches it, he finds it nothing, and he found Allah at it, so he fulfilled him his appraisal. And Allah is swift in appraisal.
Or like darks in an agitated sea, shrouded by waves, above which are waves, above which are rain-clouds. darks upon each other’s. If he egresses his hand, he will hardly see it. And to whoever Allah has not made a light, then to him there is no light.
Have you not seen that to Allah praises, whoever is in the skies and the earth, and the birds assembling? Each knows its salute and its praising. And Allah is Knowledgeable with what they do.
And to Allah belongs the Monarchy of the skies and the earth, and to Allah is the destiny.
Have you not seen that Allah drives the rain-clouds, then unifies between them, then makes them a rick, so you see droplets egressing from within it? And He descends from the sky from mountains in it from hail, so He strikes with it whoever He wishes, and He diverts it from whomever He wishes? The intensity of His lightening almost takes the visions away.
Allah tumbles the night and the day. Indeed, in that is surely a exemplar to those with visions.
And Allah created every creature from water. So, some of them walk on their bellies, and some of them walk on two feet, and some of them walk on four. Allah creates whatever He wishes. Indeed, Allah is Capable upon everything
We have descended evident signs, and Allah guides whoever He wishes to a straight route.
And they say, 'We believed in Allah and in the Messenger, and we obeyed,' then a group of them elude afterward. And these are surely not the believers.
And when they are called to Allah and His Messenger, to rule between them, at once a party of them are averting.
And if the right is to them, they come to him it willingly.
Is there a malady in their hearts? Or did they doubt? Or do they fear that Allah will be unfair upon them? and His Messenger? Verily, these are themselves the oppressors.
Indeed, the only say of the believers, when they are called to Allah and His Messenger to rule between them, was, 'We heard and we obeyed.' And these are the ploughers.
And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, and is anxious from Allah, and protects from Him, then these are themselves the victorious.
And they swore by Allah their struggling oaths, that if you ordered them, they will surely egress. Say, 'Do not swear. Obedience is recognized. Indeed, Allah is Expert with what you moil.'
Say, 'Obey Allah and obey the Messenger.' But if they elude, then upon him is what he carried, and upon you is what you carried. And if you obey him, you will be guided. And upon the Messenger is only the evident proclamation.
Allah has vowed those of you who believed and moiled the decencies, that He shall supplant them in the earth, as He supplanted those before them, and He will strengthen to them their religion, that which He has satisfied to them, and He will replace to them security after their fear. They worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever unbelieved after that, then these are themselves the defiant.
And upraise the salute, and give the alms, and obey the Messenger, perhaps you get mercy.
Do not suppose that those who unbelieved can challenge in the earth. And their home is the Fire; and what a miserable destiny.
O you who believed! Let them request consent, those whom your right hands possessed, and those of you who have not reached puberty, three times: before the dawn salute, and at noon when you put down your clothes, and after the evening salute. Three privacies for you. There is no infringement upon you nor upon them after that, floating upon you, one upon another. Likewise, Allah explains the signs for you. And Allah is Knowledgeable, Wise.
And when the youngsters among you reach puberty, then let them request consent, as those before them requested consent. Likewise, Allah explains His signs for you. And Allah is Knowledgeable, Wise.
And the sitting women, those who do not desire marriage, then there is no infringement upon them to put down their clothes without bedizening with an ornament. And to refrain is better to them. And Allah is Hearer, Knowledgeable.
There is no hindrance upon the blind, nor any hindrance upon the lame, nor any hindrance upon the malade, nor upon yourselves for eating at your houses, or your fathers' houses, or your mothers' houses, or your brothers' houses, or your sisters' houses, or the houses of your paternal uncles, or the houses of your paternal aunts, or the houses of your maternal uncles, or the houses of your maternal aunts, or those whose keys you own, or the houses of your friends. There is no wrong upon you by eating altogether or in groups. So, when you enter houses, then greet upon yourselves with a greeting from Allah, blessed and beaut. Likewise, Allah explains the signs to you, perhaps you reason.
The believers are but those who believed in Allah and His Messenger, and when they were with him for a common matter, they did not go until they have asked him for consent. Indeed, those who ask for your consent are those who believe in Allah and His Messenger. So, when they ask for your consent for some issue of theirs, then consent to anyone from them you wish, and ask Allah's forgiveness to them. Indeed, Indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Do not make calling the Messenger between you the same as calling one another. Allah has known those of you who sidle, prowling. So, let those who violate his order beware, else an affliction strikes them, or they will be stricken by a painful tribulation.
Is it not, that to Allah is whatever in the skies and the earth. He has known what you are upon. And on the day, they are returned to Him, then He will inform them of what they moiled. And Allah is knowledgeable with everything.
