O mankind, revere your Lord. Indeed, the quake of the Hour is a terrible thing,
On a Day when you [O men] will see this: every nursing mother will forget about what she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, moreover [O man] you will consider the people drunk when they are not drunk in [any way], but the punishment of Allah is severe.
And of the mankind is he who argues concerning Allah without knowledge and follows every rebellious devil [for resolve-
While] it has been decreed upon him [man] that he who befriends any of the rebellious devil then indeed the rebellious devil will misguide him [by his resolution] and will lead him to the punishment of the Blaze.
O Mankind, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you [cells are in a continuous mitosis process]. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [continue the mitosis] that you may reach your maturity [senescence form]. And among your [matured ones] is he who is recalled [from his past childishness to emerge in his senior-age], and among your [senior-child ones] is he who is returned to the most decrepit [senior, telomere shortening] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind.
That is because Allah is the Truth and that He gives life to the dead and that He is over everything competent.
And certainly the Hour is coming - there is no doubt in it - and certainly Allah will resurrect whosoever is in the graves.
And of the mankind is he who argues concerning Allah without any knowledge, with no guidance, with no enlightening Book whatsoever,
Twisting his neck [around Qur'an] to stray [believers] from the path of Allah. For him in the world is disgrace, and We will make him taste on the Day of Resurrection the punishment, the Burning Fire [while being said],
"That is what your hands have put forth [Qur'an 22:9, in effect] and certainly Allah is not ever unjust to [His] slaves."
And of the people is he who worships Allah upon edge. If he is touched by good, he is content with it; but if a test befalls him, he turns over upon his face. He has lost the world and the Hereafter. That is the loss, the obvious.
He invokes other than Allah that which neither harms him nor benefits him. That is the astray, the farthest.
He invokes one [cognitive warrior] who harms him more dearly than benefits him - how wretched is the guardian and how wretched is the friend [those cognitive warriors].
Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds to gardens flowing from their underneath would be the rivers. Indeed, Allah does what He intends.
Whoever was thinking that Allah will not support him [Prophet Muhammad] in this world and the Hereafter - let him extend a means to the sky, then cut off and observe, does his scheme go away what enrages him?
And thus have We sent it [the Qur'an] down as obvious verses and surely Allah guides whom He intends.
Indeed, those who have believed and those who were Jews and the Sabeans and the Christians and the Magians and the Polytheist - Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed Allah is a Witness over every thing.
Will you [O Muhammad] not consider for Allah, "Whoever is in the heavens prostrate to Him as well as whoever is on the earth including the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of mankind? And many [others of mankind], the punishment was justified thereupon." And he whom Allah humiliates, then for him there is no bestower of honour. Indeed, Allah does what He wills.
These are two adversaries [among mankind, Qur'an 22:3 and Qur'an 22:8] disputed concerning their Lord. So those who disbelieved [Qur'an 22:16] will have cut out for them garments of fire. Poured from above their heads scalding water.
By it will be melted what is in their bellies and the skins.
And for them are hooked rod of iron.
Every time they want to come out of Hellfire from anguish, they will be returned therein, and [it will be said], "Taste the torment of the Burning Fire!"
Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds to gardens flowing from underneath it are the rivers. They will be adorned therein from bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be silk.
And they were guided [in worldly life] to good things from the speech, and they were guided to the path of the Praiseworthy.
Indeed, those who disbelieved and obstruct [mankind] from the way of Allah and [from] al-Masjid al-haram, that which We made for the mankind - equal are the resident therein and the visitor; and whoever intends about blasphemy, about oppression therein - We will make him taste of a painful punishment.
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We assigned for Abraham the site of the House, [saying], "Do not associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those who get up [for prayer] and those who bow and prostrate.
And proclaim to the mankind about the Hajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant point -
To witness benefits for them and mention the name of Allah in known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and the poor.
Then let them complete their prescribed rites of Hajj and let them fulfill their vows and let them circumambulate around by the ancient House."
That [is commanded], and whoever venerates the sacred ordinances of Allah - it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. And lawful to you [for food in hajj] are the grazing livestock, except what is recited upon you. So shun the filth of the idols and shun false speech,
Being monotheist to Allah, not associating with Him. And he who associates with Allah - it is as though he had fallen from the sky so the birds snatched him or the wind swept down with him to a far-off place.
That [is so]. And whoever honors the symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts.
For you therein [in animals for sacrifice] are benefits until a term decreed; then their place of sacrifice is towards the ancient House.
And for every community We have laid down a rite [of sacrifice] that they may mention the name of Allah over what He has provided for them of livestock animals. So your god is one God, so to Him submit. And [O Muhammad], give glad tidings to the humble ones
Those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts trembled, and [to] the patient ones upon what had afflicted them, and the establishers of the prayers, and for what We have provided them they spend [halal ways].
And the camels and cattle We have made them for you as of the symbols of Allah; for you therein is good. So mention the name of Allah upon them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and after they had fallen lifeless on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you, perhaps you may be grateful.
Allah will not take their meat, nor their blood, but He will take the piety from you. Thus He subjected them to you that you may glorify Allah upon what He has guided you; and give good tidings to the good doers.
Indeed, Allah will be defender of those who have believed. Indeed, Allah does not love every single infidel traitor.
Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were oppressed. And indeed, Allah, on their victory, is indeed competent.
[They are] those who were driven out from their homes for no true [reason], except that they said, "Our Lord is Allah." And were it not that Allah checks the mankind, some of them by others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques wherein the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is All-Powerful, All-Mighty.
[And they are] those who, if We would have given them authority in the land, they would establish the prayer and bring the zakah and command with what is fair and forbid from what is deplorable. And to Allah belongs the outcome of [all] matters.
And if they belie you, [O Muhammad] - so already the people of Noah and Aad and Thamud belied before them,
And the people of Abraham and the people of Lot
And the inhabitants of Madyan. And Moses was belied but I granted respite to the infidels; then I seized them. So how it was [how], My penalty.
And so many of a city We did destroy while it was oppressive - so it [the destruction] fell upon its peak climb - and now abandoned well and lofty palace.
So have they not traveled in the earth and have hearts to reason by hearts [emotional reasoning] and ears to hear by ears [emotional hearing]? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are in the breasts.
And they urge you to hasten about the punishment. But Allah will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like [the order of] a thousand years of what you count [Qur'an 70:40].
And so many of a city I granted respite to it while it was oppressing. Then I seized it, and to Me is the [final] destiny.
Say, "O mankind, I am only to you an obvious warner."
And those who believed and worked righteous deeds; for them is forgiveness and noble provision.
But those who strove in Our verses to cause failure; those are the companions of Hellfire.
And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he wishes [obviousness, Qur'an 22:16], Satan cast [doubt] in his wish. So Allah will abolish whatever Satan may throw in [by making Qur'an self evident, Qur'an 25:33, Qur'an 6:92, Qur'an 5:48]; then Allah will firmly establish His verses. And Allah is All-Knowing, Firm-Establisher.
All that so He may make whatever Satan throws as a test case [of Qur'an 22:51] for those who in their hearts is disease and who their heart are cruel. And indeed, the oppressors are indeed in extreme dissension.
And for those who were given knowledge [about Qur'an 22:49-50] may know that it is the truth from your Lord and [therefore] believe in it, and their hearts humbly submit to it. And indeed, Allah is the Guide of those who have believed to a straight path.
But those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt of it until the Hour comes to them unexpectedly or there comes to them the punishment of a barren Day.
[All] sovereignty that Day is for Allah; He will establish [Qur'an 22:57] between them. So they who believed and worked righteous deeds will be in the Gardens of Pleasure.
And they who disbelieved and belied about Our verses, so those for them is a humiliating punishment.
And those who emigrated in the way of Allah, then got killed or died - Allah will surely provide them a good provision. And indeed, Allah is the best of providers.
He will surely cause them to enter an entrance they will be well pleased, and indeed, Allah is definitely All-Knowing, Most-Forbearing.
That [is so]. And whoever punished proportionately with what he was punished by, then he was oppressed [again], Allah will surely aid him. Indeed, Allah is Pardoning, Forgiving.
That is because Allah causes the night to enter into the day and causes the day to enter into the night. And indeed Allah is Hearing, Seeing.
That is because Allah is the Truth, and whatever they invoke other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand.
Do you [O man] not see that Allah has sent down water from the sky and the earth becomes green? Indeed, Allah is Subtle, Acquainted.
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And indeed, Allah is indeed the Rich, the Praiseworthy.
Do you [O man] not see that Allah has subjected for your [survival, growth, prosperity, security, happiness] whatever is in the earth and the ships that sail in the sea by His command? And He withhold the sky up lest it falls upon the earth, except by His permission. Indeed Allah, to mankind, is Most-Kind, Most-Merciful.
And He is the one who gave you life; then He causes you to die and then will [again] give you life. Indeed, mankind is ungrateful.
For every community We have granted rites which they perform. So, [O Muhammad], let the infidels not dispute with you over the matter [of rites] but invite them to your Lord. Indeed, you are upon straight guidance.
And if they dispute with you, then say, "Allah is most knowing about what you are doing.
Allah will establish between you on the Day of Judgment this [the straight guidance, Qur'an 22:67] wherein you all were differing."
Have you [O Muhammad] not known that Allah knows what is in the heaven and the earth? Indeed, that is in a Book. Indeed that, upon Allah, is easy.
And they worship other than Allah that which He has not sent down therein any authority and what they possess no knowledge therein. And there will not be for the oppressors any helper.
And when Our proof verses are recited upon them, you recognize in the faces of those who disbelieve the disbelief. They are almost assaulting those who recite upon them Our verses. Say, "Then shall I inform you about worse than that? [It is] the Fire which Allah has promised for those who have disbelieved, and wretched is the destination."
O people, an example is presented, so listen to it. Indeed, those whom you invoke other than Allah will never create [as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for that. And if the fly should snatched away a [tiny] thing from them, they could not recover it from him. Weak are the seekers and the one sought.
They have not appreciated Allah with true appreciation. Indeed, Allah is All-Powerful, All-Mighty.
Allah chooses from the angels messengers and [also] from the mankind. Indeed, Allah is Hearing, Seeing.
He knows what is between their hands [intellect, reason] and what is behind them [instinct, intuition, spirit]. And to Allah returns [all] matters.
O you who believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and work good; that perhaps you may be successful.
And strive hard in [the way of] Allah, a true strive of it. He has selected you and has not set up upon you in the religion thereof a difficulty [to strive for]. It is the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former books] and in this [Qur'an] that the Messenger [Muhammad] may be a witness over you and you [O Muslims] may be witnesses over the mankind. So establish the prayers and bring the zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.
