(I swear) by the acts of transgression that taint the soul’s innate purity,
leading to sinful deeds that blind the soul to truth, burying its moral clarity,
then to the corrupted nature that cloaks its evil with deceptive arguments as bright as daylight,
creating a toxic mindset, fueling further deviation
spreading and infecting communities.
Indeed, the human being is ungrateful to his Lord
and he is fully aware of his ingratitude,
and he is extreme in his selfish love for all that benefits him.
Does he not know that when what are in the graves are scattered
and the hearts’ contents are retrieved,
on that Day, their Lord is fully knowledgeable?
