O the Prophet, if you [you and your followers] divorced the women, then divorce them for [the commencement of] their waiting period and keep count of the waiting period, and fear Allah, your Lord. Do not exit them out from their [husbands'] houses, nor they should exit out [during that period] unless that they are bringing about an obvious obscenity. And those are the limits of Allah. And whoever transgresses the limits of Allah, so he has certainly oppressed himself. You [O man] know not; perhaps Allah may cause to happen after that, a [reconciliation] affair.
So when they reached their term, then retain them by kindness or separate from them by kindness. And bring to witness two just men from you and establish the testimony for [the acceptance of] Allah. That is instructed to whoever was believing in Allah and the Last day. And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out,
And will provide for him from where he does not reckon. And whoever relies upon Allah, so He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah reached His command. Allah has already set up for everything a due measure.
And those who despair menstruation from your women, if you doubt [pregnancy], then their term is three months, and [also if you don't doubt for] those who have not menstruated. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they lay down their burden. And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him of his matter ease.
That is the command of Allah, which He has sent down to you. And whoever fears Allah, He will cover from him his misdeeds and He will make great for him, a reward.
House them from where you reside from your means and do not harm them to cause distress upon them. And if they should be pregnant, then spend on them until they lay down their burden. And if they suckle for you, then give them their payment and consult between yourselves in kindness; but if you disagree, then another women will suckle for him.
Let a possessor of wealth spend from his wealth, and whoever upon whom is restricted his livelihood, so let him spend from what Allah has given him. Allah does not charge a soul except [according to] what He has given it. Allah will soon make, after a hardship, an ease.
And so many of a city was insolent about the command of its Lord and His messengers. So We reckoned it, a severe reckoning, and punished it with a terrible punishment.
So it tasted the evil consequence of its affair, and the end of its affair was loss.
Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment; so fear Allah, O men of understanding who believed. Allah has sent down to you a reminder [Qur'an].
A Messenger [Muhammad] reciting upon you the obvious verses of Allah to exit those who believed and worked righteous deeds from darknesses into the light. And whoever believes in Allah and works righteous, He will admit him into paradises, running from beneath which are the rivers, to dwell therein forever. Allah already has excelled for him, a livelihood.
Allah is the one who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. [His] command descends between them to make you know that Allah is over everything competent and that Allah has certainly encompassed everything in knowledge.
